Late Penalty for License & Cat Identification Renewals

All City of London dog licenses and cat identifications expire December 31st of a given year. Renewal notices are sent out in the late fall.

There is a late penalty of $7.50 applied per dog for late renewals after Feb. 28th. There is a $12.50 late penalty applied per dog after May 31st.

There is a late penalty of $2.00 applied per cat for late renewal after Feb. 28th. There is a $4.00 late penalty applied per dog after May 31st.

Failure to purchase a dog license or cat identification can result in penalties (increased licence fee, a ticket which includes a fine or court action).
